Presentation of the award “Person of the year” will be held at Korston hotel today. The award is given to heads of Kazan companies for professional achievements.
Director General of the Centre of information technologies Almaz Valiullin and Director General of OAO “ICL-KPO VS” Viktor Dyachkov, Director General of OAO “Bars group” Timur Akhmerov, Director General of ZAO “Ford Dialogue” Vladimir Nitenko and Director General of OOO “MELT” Evgeny Samarsky are nominees for the award “Person of the year in IT industry”.
According to “Delovoi kvartal”, a large amount of work in the sphere of ICT was done under the direction of Almaz Valiullin during summer Universiade 2013. In particular, the Universiade portal and contact centre were created. 24-hour video analysis and backup were carried out at 53 Universiade venues. All sports venues were united by a single data transmission network that enabled functioning of information, security, telephone and wi-fi systems. Special ticket terminals were also provided for all sports venues.

About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.

Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
