Meeting with executives of communications industry held at Ministry of Information and Communication

On November 11 Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov held an extended meeting with executives of communications industry.
Changing of suspended communication lines for underground cable ones, and results of work for 9 months of 2013 were discussed at the meeting.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Anatoly Geller reported on liquidation of suspended communication lines in Tatarstan. In particular, he noted that 922 km of suspended lines were changed.
By results of report period 700 appeals were received from citizens concerning quality of communication services. The gross profit in the amount of 32 bln rubles was received for 9 months of 2013. The average monthly salary of industry employees made 26 516 rubles.
New services are now available on the portal of state services – pensioners can get subsidies for transport fares, applications for subsidies to pay for premises, housing and communal services can be submitted.
The regional contest IT champion has been held from March 1. 306 pupils have already received iPads.
Since Public control system was launched, 670 requests have been received.

On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
