Unmanned aircraft systems festival “Reaching for the Sky” starts in Kazan
On September 26, the Bashir Rameev IT Park hosted the festival of unmanned aerial systems "Reach for the Sky", which was opened by the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of Tatarstan Ayrat Khayrullin, the Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin, the President of the Academy of Sciences of the republic Rifkat Minnikhanov and the Director of the Competence Center for UAS of the University 2035 Dmitry Kaisin.
The second venue of the festival was the educational centre "Alabuga-Polytech" in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
Ayrat Khairullin emphasized that the festival is aimed at developing engineering creativity and thinking for the younger generation. According to him, information technology, engineering education, and natural science knowledge give the opportunity to build the foundation of a modern economic society. The Minister of Digitalization of the republic listed the tasks facing the republic in the development of unmanned technologies.
