The first selection of AI startups in Tatarstan takes place at Kazan Digital Week
On September 10, Kazan Digital Week Forum hosted the first in Tatarstan specialized selection of start-up projects in the artificial intelligence, organized by the Kazan IT park. Next week the Technology Park will announce the results - who will join the new AI-cluster based on Startup-Hub and Business Incubator IT-park. Experts, invited to select projects were AI commissioner in Tatarstan Bulat Zamaleev, cofounder of hop.agency, general partner of venture player UDT X Natalia Starostina, director of the regional development department «Skolkovo» Yury Sibirsky, founder and director of «Scientific Studio» Company Konstantin Scobeltsyn, investment manager of the venture fund Kama Flow Mikhail Oganov, head of ML-team Yandex Browser Sergey Yudin.
The event was moderated by the head of the IT-park technology entrepreneurship department Aleksey Taranov. The new cluster will provide additional project benefits such as accelerated piloting in the region’s authorities and businesses, soft computing capabilities and a powerful expert community.
