"Letay" expands the network coverage on the M-12 highway

Since 2023, the operator has built 13 base stations along the highway and upgraded four telecom sites. As a result, the quality of communication on the section passing through the territory of the republic has improved by 4.4%. Now most of this section of the road (93%) is provided with a stable signal level. Problem areas were identified due to drive tests. Thus, specialists adjusted the angle of the antennas or replaced them in areas with a weak radio signal, and also equipped the platforms with additional sectors in the Verkhneuslonsky, Yelabuzhsky, Kaibitsky, Laishevsky, Menzelinsky, Rybno-Slobodsky regions of Tatarstan.

Letay continues monitoring the quality of communication at the telecom network facilities and includes settlements located near the highway in the plan for expanding the coverage area. By the end of 2024, it is planned to launch another base station in the Yelabuzhsky region and modernize the site in Laishevsky region.
