Megafon speeds up the mobile internet in popular village of Tatarstan

Residents and guests of the village of Minger in Tatarstan now have access to data download speeds of up to 100 Mbps on their smartphones. The operator installed an LTE base station in the village, famous for its large-scale celebration of Sabantuy. The final of the world belt wrestling tournament - koresh, is also taking place here. The village, located in the Saby region, has a population of less than 300 people.

At the same time, every summer, thousands of guests not only from Tatarstan, but also from other regions of Russia come to Minger for events dedicated to the completion of sowing campaign. Recently, the village has become known outside the country. Since 2018, Minger has been hosting the World Youth Koresh Championship and Junior World Championship. This year, more than 300 athletes from 27 countries took part in the competition.
