Frosts and snowfalls, which led to a transport collapse and blocking of the federal highways in Tatarstan, did not affect the quality of communication services for Letay subscribers. In January, the operator recorded a minimal increase of 0.0039 per cent in emergency incidents at base stations. Letay base stations serving subscribers throughout Tatarstan were able to resist snow drifts and air temperature changes due to additional heaters, which avoided failure of active equipment and overcooling of batteries. This increased the battery life during power outages. Despite difficult weather conditions, Letay continued to expand its network coverage. Last month, the operator built and modernized 19 base stations in 12 settlements of Tatarstan.
