On February 19, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin signed a decree appointing Bulat Gabdrakhmanov to the post of a new Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan, who earlier worked as the Head of the Department of Digital Transformation in Culture, Education and Youth Policy in the Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan.
In the department, Gabdrakhmanov will be responsible for projects related to the development of the economy of the IT industry in the region, attraction of government grants for the implementation of IT solutions, as well as issues related to training personnel for the Digital Economy and the digital transformation of education in general.
Bulat Fanilovich Gabdrakhmanov was born on May 26, 1995 in Kazan. He graduated from Kazan Federal University with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as the University of Birmingham (UK) with a degree in Human-Computer Interaction (Master of Science). He has been working in the telecommunication industry for 11 years.
