Tatarstan delegation to take part in International investment forum "Sochi-2013"

On September 26 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Sochi to take part in the international investment forum “Sochi-2013”.
The Tatarstan delegation is presented by Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, Tatneft Director General Shafagat Takhautdinov, Rector of Kazan National Research Technical University Albert Gilmutdinov, and Rector of Kazan National Research Technological University German Dyakonov.
On September 27 Tatarstan President will take part in opening of the forum, presentation of Tatarstan exposition, and plenary session “Economic development and quality of life: challenges and prospects” with participation of Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.
Within the framework of the forum Rustam Minnikhanov is expected to meet with Governor of Tver region.
On September 28 Dmitry Medvedev will hold a round table with heads of Russian regions “The standard of investment attractiveness of the regions”.
The interactive stand of the Republic of Tatarstan will be traditionally presented at the forum. This year it is dedicated to engineering centres.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
Such meetings between the minister and representatives of the IT community are held on Fridays in an open dialogue format. These personal meetings provide an opportunity for companies to share their experiences, discuss their projects and seek support.
