Mikhail Abyzov: “Tatarstan is an absolute leader in developing information platform of Open Government”

Russian Minister Mikhail Abyzov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov summarized results of the two-day seminar “The standard of region’s openness as an indicator of quality of interaction between state and public institutes” in IT park.
Representatives of Russian Ministry of Communication and Mass Media, Ministry of Regional Development, pilot regions who coordinate issues of public administration openness, journalists and bloggers took part in the seminar.
Mikhail Abyzov said: “Open Government is a project that presupposes rendering of proper information regarding activity of state authorities to citizens. And it is always involvement of citizens in decision making process.”
He believes that Tatarstan is an absolute leader in developing information platform of Open Government today. “The project combines all necessary components, - electronic state services, information about activity of authorities and government plans, and “Public Control” project.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that openness is not a solution to all problems, and people should contribute to decision-making process.

About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
Such meetings between the minister and representatives of the IT community are held on Fridays in an open dialogue format. These personal meetings provide an opportunity for companies to share their experiences, discuss their projects and seek support.
