MTS launches LTE on the territory of the “Island-town of Sviyazhsk”

MTS, a digital ecosystem, has launched a high-speed mobile Internet on the territory of the historical complex «Island-town of Sviyazhsk» in the village of the same name Zelenodolsk region. The operator installed new LTE equipment here, as well as optimized the operation of the existing network in nearby settlements, which allowed to increase the speed of mobile Internet for residents and tourists by 30 percent.

On the eve of the winter tourist season, MTS installed new telecom equipment and launched a high-speed Internet LTE in Sviyazhsk - one of the most popular attractions of guests of the republic outside Kazan. Now tourists will be able to enjoy the usual digital services with comfort: share their travel impressions from the trip in messengers and social networks, listen to audio guides and online study information about attractions, book accommodation and pay for purchases in gift shops.
