The project seminar “The standard of region’s openness as an indicator of quality of interaction between state and public institutes” opened in Kazan

Issues of public administration and creation of a single standard of openness for regions are being discussed in IT park at a seminar organized under the auspices of Russian Minister Mikhail Abyzov.
Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov opened the seminar.
Roman Shaikhutdinov said: “The Republic of Tatarstan actively participates in adoption of Open Government tools. The interdepartmental working group was established for the project implementation. For several years we have been implementing projects in the sphere of informatization of relationships between state and citizens. We decided to create a single resource that will combine all services, and we called it Open Tatarstan.”
The portal Open Tatarstan will include sections “Electronic services”, “Public control”, “Public and expert discussion of plans of state and municipal purchases”, “Public discussion of activity of executive authorities”, “Public and expert discussion of drafts of normative and legal acts”, and “Open information”.
Representatives of Russian Ministry of Communication and Mass Media, Ministry of Regional Development, pilot regions who coordinate issues of public administration openness, journalists and bloggers are taking part in the seminar.

On March 10, in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national messenger Max in Tatarstan, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin shared insights on the platform’s work in key sectors of the republic.
According to Letay operator, women living in Tatarstan were more active in using mobile communication in 2025 compared to men. Despite having more male subscribers, female residents of the republic communicated 1.5 times more via phone and social networks.
MTS company has launched an interactive course titled “Cybersecurity: a guide against scammers”, which is available for Tatarstan residents of any age and is aimed at increasing digital literacy and informing about tools to protect against fraud.
Course consists of 12 thematic modules.
The competition commission, headed by Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan Bulat Gabdrahmanov announced the winners of the regional contest “Best Multifunctional Centre of Tatarstan”.
