Yandex to introduce Tatarstan schoolchildren to cloud technologies

A new stage of the all-Russian educational project “Lesson of Digit” from Yandex is taking place in Tatarstan.

On December 5 at 3.00 p.m. Lyceum No. 5 in Kazan will host an open lesson on the topic “Cloud technologies: in search of the snow leopard” with the participation of Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Pubic Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of Tatarstan Albert Yakovlev and the head of regional projects “Yandex.Textbook” Dmitry Kononov.

Cloud technologies are integrated into modern life more than we can imagine: from marketplaces, banks and voice assistants to education, healthcare and science. The widespread use of the cloud is leading to the emergence of new professions. Understanding the structure of the cloud and other digital technologies opens up new prospects for self-determination and self-fulfillment for schoolchildren, expands their horizons, and allows you to keep up with the times.
