Data traffic consumption in villages and countryside of Tatarstan increased by 33 per cent since the beginning of the year

Residents of the village Kuzembetyevo of Menzelinsk region of Tatarstan ranked fourth in the rating of mobile Internet activity. On average, each MegaFon subscriber from this settlement uses more than 120 GB of online traffic on their smartphone every month. This figure is 5 times higher than usual for small settlements in the Volga region, analysts of the operator said.

Residents of most villages, settlements and towns of the Volga region as a whole began to browse the Internet Network more often. The volume of January-September digital transfers increased by 22 per cent compared to the same period last year. In Tatarstan, the dynamics are more noticeable - data traffic consumption for 9 months of 2023 outside cities increased by 33 percent.
