Development of innovations discussed at Kazan IT park

On September 7 Russian Minister of Economic Development Aleksei Ulyukaev and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Kazan IT park.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Anatoly Geller presented the system GLONASS+112. Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov and IT park Director Anton Grachev showed the guest around High Technology Park.
RoadAR and Avtodoria projects were presented to Aleksei Ulyukaev in Business incubator.
Roman Shaikhutdinov presented the project “Electronic Tatarstan”, and told about rendering of state and municipal services to Tatarstan citizens.
A meeting on development of innovative infrastructure of the Republic of Tatarstan, and cooperation of the Association of innovative regions of Russia with Russian Ministry of Economic Development, and Ministry of Finances was held later on.
Roman Shaikhutdinov also told about implementation of Innopolis project.

New free Wi-Fi hotspots were launched in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Zainsk and Leninogorsk. Connecting to the network is simple: just complete authorization using a laptop or smartphone.
"Since last year, we have been working together with telecom operators to expand the free Wi-Fi network. These networks become an important backup communication channel, providing residents and guests of the republic with an additional opportunity to stay connected and use digital services. We are pleased that operators support this idea and are actively involved in creating public access points," Deputy Minister of Digitalization Albert Yakovlev said.

The resident of IT Park created a dating app for Muslims called Zawajy (meaning "My Marriage"), which is aimed at combining modern technology with traditional Muslim values.
On the sidelines of the All-Russian conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (CIPR-2026) in Nizhny Novgorod, MTS Company signed two cooperation agreements: with the Association for Promoting Digital Development and the Regional Information Computer Centre (RIVC).
On May 7, on Radio and Communications Day, the Bashir Rameev IT Park hosted the first open tournament in robotics and technological entrepreneurship "ROBOKAZAN". This event gave children and adolescents a unique opportunity to try themselves in an area that is already shaping the future.
