Presentation of grants for education at Higher School of Information Technologies and Systems to be held in IT park

A solemn presentation of grants for education at Higher School of Information Technologies and Systems will held in IT park on September 6. Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, Director of Higher School of Information Technologies and Systems Airat Khasyanov, and Director of IT park Anton Grachev will take part in the event.
Higher School of Information Technologies and Systems was opened in 2011 under the auspices of Ministry of Information and Communication and IT park. Education is provided on commercial basis. However, entrants who get more scores at State Unified Exam in informatics, mathematics and Russian have an opportunity to receive a grant for education.
In 2011-2012 IT park provided 30 personal grants for the sum of 2.2 bln rubles. In 2012-2013 120 people received grants from IT park.
For next year Tatarstan Government has provided 105 grants.
Besides, this year Bars Group, SmartHead, FlatStack and Informatika IT companies rendered support for the first time.

About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
Such meetings between the minister and representatives of the IT community are held on Fridays in an open dialogue format. These personal meetings provide an opportunity for companies to share their experiences, discuss their projects and seek support.
