According to the results of voting, as many as 87 settlements of Tatarstan will be determined to be provided mobile access to high-speed Internet in 2024. All settlements with a population of 100 to 500 can vote. Every Tatarstan resident at the age of 18 can cast vote for one rural settlement located in a constituent entity of the Russian Federation, where the voter has a permanent registration at the place of residence. To participate in the voting it is necessary to follow the link, the voting will last until August 13, 2023.
To participate in voting, a citizen needs a verified account on the State Services Portal of the Russian Federation and permanent registration in the region to be voted for.
It is also possible to send a paper letter to Russian Ministry of Digital Development, in which it is necessary to indicate the name, address of registration and the name of the settlement where the connection is required.
The voting is carried out under the Programme of Elimination of Digital Divide in accordance with the goals of the national project "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation". For two years of implementation of the federal program in 2022-2023, it was planned to install 99 base stations.
Currently, the equipment has been installed in 44 settlements of the republic, and another 55 base stations will be installed by the end of the year.
