On July 14, Kazan hosted the first graduation of School 21 participants. During their studies, they learned several programming languages, learned to work on their projects individually and in a team, and also completed mandatory internships at major IT companies in the region. Today, all of them are successfully employed and work in Sberbank, Centre of Digital Transformation, Armor, AK Bars, Nitsikonsystem, Tinkoff and other companies. As practice shows, most often the participants chose the profession of a developer (GO, Java, Python, C, C + ), data engineer and DevOps.
The School 21 campus in Kazan is the second campus of the school, which opened in the country and has been operating for several years. It is in demand among the residents of the region. Today there are more than 1000 people studying here, 400 of them are already working in IT companies. At the same time, for 80 per cent of the participants, programming became a completely new experience; previously they had nothing to do with the IT sphere. "School 21" is an educational project that helps all applicants from 18 to get free education in the IT sphere. During the training, participants acquire programming skills in C, C ++, Java, Python, Go, C #, master the work with databases and infrastructure, and also study various areas in digital technologies. To participate in the qualifying stage, it is necessary to submit an application on the website. Admission to the school does not depend on previous knowledge, work experience, programming skills and diplomas.
