In 2023, as many as 32 rural post offices of "Tatarstan pochtasy" post offices to be modernized

To date, there are 1,111 post offices in Tatarstan, including 260 urban and 851 rural. Since 2022, on behalf of Russian President, a program of modernization of rural post offices has been implemented in Tatarstan. In 2022, 15 post offices were modernized in the settlements of Stolbische, Nurlaty, Bolshaya Atnya, Shapshi, Malaya Tsilna.

In 2023, as many as 32 rural post offices will be modernized under the programme. Rural Post Offices, which are repaired under the modernization program, are equipped with health corners, where any visitor can independently take measurements of the main health indicators (pressure, temperature, oxygen content in the blood and others) and online access points to public services.

Since February 2023 in the central post office of Kazan at Kremlevskaya street, 8, it is possible to issue an encrypted and certified digital signature. Encrypted and certified digital signature allows you to view any documents online without printing out physical copies.

In April 2023, on the basis of the Kazan Logistics Post Center, an experiment was launched on the organization of a bonded warehouse. Uncleared foreign goods are placed here.

“Tatarstan Pochtasy” Post Office does keep out of topical issues related to the special military operation. In each post office of the republic, you can send the parcel free of charge to the zone of Special Military Operation. In May 2023, when the project was launched, more than 350 free parcels were sent and their number is growing.

There are even robots on the Post Office staff. In 2022, postal robots were “employed” in the post office in the city of Innopolis. Their task is to deliver the package to the recipients.
