MTS, a digital ecosystem, has completed work to improve communications in Yelabuga. The operator optimized the network throughout the city, which allowed to increase the speed of mobile Internet for guests and residents of the city by 30 percent. Homeland of the famous artist Ivan Shishkin, a cozy merchant city with well-preserved architectural flavor of the 19th century for dozens of natural, architectural monuments, facilities connected with famous people of different times, is called «open-air museum».
Here, on the high bank of the Kama is a monument of federal significance «Devil’s Settlement» with the ruins of the ancient Bulgarian fortress-mosque, the only remaining ground structure of the pre-Mongolian period of the Volga Bulgaria. Although the inhabitants of the settlement no more than seventy-five thousand people, every year more than 200,000 tourists come to see the local attractions. The city receives most of the guests in the summer, when major all-Russian events are held in Yelabuga - the Spasskaya Fair, the bell ringing festival, the classical music festival "Summer Evenings in Yelabuga. According to operator statistics, during such activities the load on the network here grows tenfold. The new quality of the network and high-speed Internet MTS will allow Yelabuga residents and tourists to stay connected and to enjoy the usual digital services with comfort even at increased loads.
