TV tower in Kazan to be lighted green in support of «Garden of Memory» campaign

On June 18, the branch of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network of Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Center of Tatarstan will turn on green architectural and artistic lighting at the main TV tower of the region in support of the environmental and patriotic campaign "Garden of Memory".
The «Garden of Memory» campaign is aimed at preserving historical memory, greening of cities and conservation of forest resources of Russia. The goal of the project is to plant 27 million trees - in honor of each of our compatriot who died in the World War II. The last tree will be planted on June 18.
The tower will display the inscriptions: "Garden of Memory" and "27 million trees”.
