Gas supplied at Innopolis construction site

On August 21 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Director General of OOO “Gasprom Transgas Kazan” Rafkat Kantyukov took part in the ceremony of putting the first section of gas distribution pipeline into operation at new IT city “Innopolis”.
To the point, the length of the first section is 3.3 km. The construction cost made 63.1 mln roubles. By and large, it is planned to build 4 sections of gas pipeline with a length of 9 km.
Rustam Minnikhav thanked Director General of OOO “Gasprom transgas Kazan” Rafkat Kantyukov for his work and Board Chairman of OAO “Gasprom” Aleksey Miller for his support.
Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov noted high rates of construction works at Innopolis site. Nikolay Nikiforov thanked gas workers for their work. “We are sure that everything will be done in time,” the Minister continued.
Director General of OOO “Gasprom Transgas Kazan” Rafkat Kantyukov said that the capacity of the gas distribution pipeline would be enough for supplying gas to all Innopolis objects within next two years. The construction of the main pipeline must be finished in 2015.
At the end of the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov, Nikolay Nikiforov and Rifkat Kantyukov lighted a symbolic gas torch to mark commissioning of a new gas pipeline.

About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.

On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
