On February 3, Head of the Legal Support Department and Acting Head of the Information Security Coordination Department of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Timur Ashuraliev held a lesson on safe behavior on the Internet for schoolchildren from secondary school 169 of the Soviet district of Kazan.
The lesson was held under the All-Russian educational project "Digital literacy campaign" in the field of digital literacy and cybersecurity.
The speaker emphasized that it is important to explain the rules of behavior in the Internet space to children, because without this knowledge, schoolchildren can be trapped by scammers, become victims of blackmail with extortion of money and personal photos.
In particular, the specialist explained how to protect a profile on social networks from hacking, how to prevent the transfer of funds to strangers, and how to counter cyberbullying.
