On December 7, under the Year of Digitalization in Tatarstan, timed to the International Anti-Corruption Day, celebrated on December 9, Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information technologies and Communication held a panel discussion on the topic: "Digital technologies as a tool for a transparent world without corruption”.
During the discussion, the participants discussed the impact of digital tools on the transparency of citizens' interaction with the state and compliance with laws, anti-corruption tools. At the panel discussion, the participants took part in an online voting devoted to the use of digital tools for interaction with the state, including the regional portals of state and municipal services and the People’s Control.
According to the results, 94 per cent of those who voted said that they use the State Services Portal, one per cent answered that they write complaints on paper.
The regional portal of state and municipal services is a unique regional portal aimed at the creation and development of regional services and products, which combines 463 types of e-services and services for various life situations. Also during the event, issues of digitalization of healthcare and education areas as the closest to a wide audience were raised, projects for digitalization of the work of the Regional Clinical Hospital and its certification according to HIMSS standards were introduced, e-formats for submitting applications to educational institutions of Tatarstan were discussed.
At the end of the panel discussion, the winners of industry events, namely the intellectual and entertainment game "Youth and Corruption" and the competition of creative works on anti-corruption topics were awarded.
