Tatarstan business has doubled the demand for smart sensors

Mobile Telesystems Company analyzed the consumption of IoT services in the business market of Tatarstan. The number of smart sensors connected to the MTS NB-IoT network since the beginning of 2022 has more than doubled compared to the same period in 2021. At the same time, "smart intercoms" showed the largest growth - they accounted for more than a third of the total number of NB-IoT devices sold during this period.

Solutions for «digital real estate» of MTS help Tatarstan intercom companies to ensure the safety of residents of apartment buildings and their property. Using the MTS VDome mobile application, users can open the door remotely, receive video calls on a smartphone, and the built-in camera makes it possible to see the archive of records for a week.

The second most popular service in Tatarstan was remote monitoring of equipment - it accounted for 27 per cent of all new smart devices connected to the MTS NB-IoT network since the beginning of the year. Sensors equipped with SIM-chips are used in all areas where accurate accounting of resources is relevant - they are used by both management companies and suppliers of electricity, water and gas.

The third most demanded service among the Tatarstan business in 2022 was the monitoring of the fleet and traveling personnel. Most often transport companies, courier services, delivery services and other companies connect this service.
