Functioning of all sports venues of 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan is provided by the integrated data transmission network via two data processing centres.
Due to this network all information, security, telephone and wireless systems are functioning at all objects.
“We created one of Europe’s largest wireless networks at Universiade objects,” – Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov said.
Wi-Fi network was launched in Universiade Village and Kazan-Arena football stadium, and was modernized at Kazan airport.
