IT park and Innopolis presented to delegation of World Economic Forum

On July 8 Deputy Director of the Strategic Planning Department of the World Economic Forum Stephan Mergenthaler and Director for Russia and CIS at the World Economic Forum Anastassia Aubakirova visited Kazan IT park. Guests were met by the Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov.
They visited Business Incubator and got familiar with electronic document management system, Innopolis and Avtodoria projects.
Avtodoria is the innovative system to control overspeeding. The project has been launched in Kazakhstan and Ingushetia.
Guests were also told about Speakphone, the system for warning citizens about emergency situations.

At the end of their visit Stephan Mergenthaler and Anastassia Aubakirova left their wishes on the so-called “Glory Wall”.
Before the visit to IT park Stephan Mergenthaler and Anastassia Aubakirova had met with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. Anastassia Aubakirova informed that this year the World Economic Forum is going to expand cooperation with Russian regions and study economy of Russian subjects. Experts will study regional practices in some areas and their influence on regional economic growth.
In particular, they will consider business environment provided for investors. First results will be discussed in October in Moscow. The final report will be presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

IT companies in Tatarstan should complete the accreditation confirmation form on the State Services Portal by June 1, 2026. This is necessary to retain their IT accreditation and the associated tax benefits.
