Tatarstan and VK Company sign a cooperation agreement
On June 16, on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of VK Company Vladimir Kirienko signed an Agreement on educational, scientific and technical cooperation between Tatarstan and VK Company.
«It is important for us to establish close cooperation with the leaders of the domestic IT industry, one of which is VK Company. Currently the IT industry of the republic has about 3,000 companies and more than 40,000 specialists», Tatarstan President said.
Today, VK is no longer just a social network, but a whole ecosystem of services that provides information products for citizens and businesses.
According to Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin, it is planned to integrate public services into the Vkontakte social network and make receiving services for citizens even more comfortable, integrate Lilia Vkontake service for interaction with government agencies registered on the social network, and also implement a number of joint projects.
“I am sure that in the Year of Digitalization in Tatarstan, together with VK, we will implement many interesting and useful services for our citizens,” Khayrullin said at the signing ceremony.
