Children's IT park opened in Kazan

On March 1, at the Kazan IT park, the opening of the Children’s IT park, a unique educational platform, where children can gain knowledge in high technologies from robotics and prototyping to digital media and entrepreneurship, took place.

In honor of the opening, the IT Park hosted the interregional festival of technologies and robotics for children - "Robosabantuy-2022", organized by the Bala-City General Educational Organization and the organization of additional education "Laboratory of Robotics and Industrial Design "RoboLand".

The holiday brought together 500 young robot developers from all over Tatarstan and several regions of the Volga region. The festival became the first official event of the children's IT park.

A distinctive feature of the festival is that children aged from 4 to 12 participate in it. This is the only major event of this level in Russia, where junior schoolchildren compete in high technologies: most such competitions involve older children, starting from the 9th grade. The creative projects of young contestants attracted great attention of the guests and journalists in various fields, from medicine and art to ecology and education.
