Innopolis project celebrates one-year anniversary

Innopolis, a new city that will appear on the map of Russia, is one of major federal projects. On June 9 2012 Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev held a capsule-laying ceremony with a message to future residents of Innopolis. For one year a special economic innovative zone Innopolis has been created. The Innopolis settlement appeared on the map of Russia in May 2013.
Necessary documents and the detailed concept of the project are being prepared now. In 2015 Innopolis will host first residents – 5 thousand talented IT specialists with their families.
Innopolis has become worldwide renowned as one of the biggest investment projects in Russia. The project has been presented at international exhibitions and forums. Negotiations with leading IT companies and investors are carried on.

Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
Tatarstan residents have increased their phone communication by one-third. According to MegaFon, in March 2025, the average person talked on the phone for 4 hours and 49 minutes per month. This year, the average call time has risen to 6 hours and 20 minutes.
