On January 28, speaking at a press conference on the results of a government meeting held last Wednesday, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin informed that as many as 114 industry events will be held in Tatarstan in 2022.
“Our task in 2022 is to popularize and promote the IT industry,” the Minister emphasized.
In particular, Khayrullin announced the regional hakaton «Tatar Hack», the final of which will take place at Kazan Digital Week on September 21-24; Festivals dedicated to the celebration of Runet’s Birthday and Radio and Communication Day; specialized shifts of Smart IT-School in summer camps of Tatarstan; Olympics between IT companies of the region «Tsifroviada»; launch of photo-video contest «I am a Tatarstan programmer»; presidential competitions for schoolchildren «Give 5!»; for students - «AlgaRhytm» and for people of the senior generation - «Hikmet»as well as the family festival of digital technologies TatFuture and the All-Russian Cyber Sport Championship for the prize of Tatarstan President and the Game Developers Forum «Cyberpark».
Another important direction will be the holding of the "Lesson of Digit", which should become a monthly in all schools of the republic. In each grade from 1 to 11, one time a month, students will discuss relevant and significant topics related to IT - digital professions, cyberbullying and others.
Officials, namely, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Roman Shaykhutdinov, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin, Head of the Association for Promotion of Digital Development of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, as well as heads of the largest IT companies of Tatarstan will take part in the Lessons of Digit.
