St.Petersburg delegation studies Tatarstan experience in adopting GLONASS technologies

On June 4 St.Petersburg delegation visited Kazan IT park. The excursion around IT park, Business incubator and Data centre was organized for employees of St.Petersburg “City monitoring centre” and call processing centre “112”. Then, guests went to call processing centre to study operation of GLONASS emergency services call system.
Ambulances, cars of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of the Interior were provided with GLONASS equipment to improve coordination of emergency services.
GLONASS+112 is a unified monitoring system for school buses, government vehicles, public transport and vehicles carrying hazardous materials.
Adoption of the system in republic enabled to improve immediate response to the emergency situation and create the system of statistical recording and control over work of emergency services.

On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
