“Innopolis” project presented to Moody’s Investors Service

On May 22 delegation of the international agency Moody’s Investors Service led by Vice-President and Senior analyst Aleksandr Proklov visited Kazan IT park. The delegation was accompanied by Tatarstan Minister of Finance Radik Gaizatullin and Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov.
Roman Shaikhutdinov told about the history of IT park, its infrastructure and financial results. He also told in details about “Innopolis” project that is to attract republic’s investment potential within two-three years. “Innopolis” is an independent city that provides all conditions for scientific and business activity, he explained. He continued that it will be based on technoparks, data centers, IT University and a developed social infrastructure.
Deputy Minister of Economy Marat Sharifullin presented results of Tatarstan social and economic development in 2012 and first quarter of 2013.
To the point, Moody’s Investors Service is engaged in credit and investment ratings, risk research and analysis.

About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
