Deputy Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation Maksim Parshin holds a meeting with the Tatarstan IT community
On September 24, in the IT-park, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia Maskim Parshin, Director General of the Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies Aleksandr Pavlov and other meeting participants discussed the pressing issues of grant support of IT business.
The Government’s attention is now focused on the high-tech industry, and two support packages have already been developed.
The first set of measures was implemented in the hard year 2020 and included, in particular, a decrease in the income tax rate and a decrease in insurance premiums.
This year, a second set of measures has been prepared, consisting of 62 priority measures, including 20 system-wide and 42 special measures. Tatarstan has developed and implemented its own support measures.
Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin said that next year, a new IT cluster will appear in Kazan.
After the visit to the IT Park, Parshin visited Innopolis, where he met with residents of the Special Economic Zone.
