The winners of the first All-Russian UAV contest «Dron Race» announced
On June 25, in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, the first All-Russian contest of unmanned aerial vehicles "Dron Race", organized by the Quantorium children's technopark ended.
Teams from the cities of Ufa, Maykop, Izhevsk, Perm, Naberezhnye Chelny, Ulyanovsk, Kurgan, Nefteyugansk and Tanaika village of Yelabuga region took part in the contest.
The contest participants competed in two main nominations:
• Competition in high-speed passage of the track by quadcopters; • Competition of projects aimed at solving national economic problems using unmanned aerial systems.
A successful finisher is a quadcopter that crossed all control points in a given sequence and completely, including the protruding parts of a quadcopter, crossing the finish line.
Danil Bukharov from the Quantorium Children’s Technopark in Naberezhnye Chelny became the winner of the high-speed crossing of the motorway. A student of «Quantorium» in Yugra Renat Maksudov became second and Amalia Ataullina from «Quantorium» in Ufa was the third.
