Tatarstan became one of the nine regions of Russia where the Festivals of Ideas and Technologies of the National Technological Initiative (NTI) Movement will be held by the end of 2021.

On October 15, in celebration of the 90th Anniversary of National Television Broadcasting and the 20th Anniversary of Russian television and radio broadcasting network (RTRBN), in the National Radio and Television Broadcasting Centre in Troitsk Forest, a solemn opening of the Museum of Television and Radio Broadcasting took place.  

Voting for settlements to be connected to high-speed Internet in 2022 started on the State Services Portal of the Russian Federation.

On October 8, at the 25th meeting of the regional State Council of the sixth convocation, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov delivered his annual address to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.
