Students of IT lyceum present their solutions for Innopolis

On April 26 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, rector of Kazan University Ilshat Gafurov, Director of High Technology Park “IT park” Anton Grachev, professor, ex-president of UNESCO international council for natural-scientific education (Thailand) Janchai Yingprayoon, and Director for professional education of Educare Cooperative Limited (Singapore) Ms Jaya Das visited IT lyceum.
At the exhibition “Science-fest” pupils presented their innovative IT solutions for Innopolis. Ildar Khalikov was especially interested in projects of automated traffic lights management system, automated switching-on of street lighting at the moment of car approach, and the programme for teaching fire action procedures.
Tatarstan Prime Minister promised to think about real application of the presented projects.
Excursion around the educational institution was also organized for the guests.
Ildar Khalikov said that Tatarstan leadership is planning to establish more schools that will favour realization of potential of talented children. However, these institutions will focus on other spheres.
From June 1 to June 6, 2026, the "IT Donor Week" will be held for the twelfth time. Anyone over 18 can donate blood and help those who need it right now.
Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Andrey Plutnitsky noted that Russia has only 10 donors per one thousand residents. At the same time, statistics show that one in three people will need a blood transfusion at least once in their lifetime.
A resident of the Business Incubator at Tatarstan IT Park JogJoy startup, which is developing an AI coach that helps people run without injury, has won the Skolkovo SportTech Accelerator.
On May 31, the Bashir Rameev IT Park in Kazan will host a free family festival, "Circus of the Future”, which is timed to coincide with Children's Day.

IT companies in Tatarstan should complete the accreditation confirmation form on the State Services Portal by June 1, 2026. This is necessary to retain their IT accreditation and the associated tax benefits.
