IT Saturday clean-up campaign

A traditional Saturday clean-up campaign was held at many Kazan companies and enterprises. IT park employees decided to combine work with pleasure. After cleaning work places everyone enjoyed IT entertainment, - Segway driving, plush Angry Birds playing, taking pictures with Wall-E. Moreover, the weekend picnic was organised for everyone.
Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov said: “I am glad to see IT park employees and residents here. It is a good opportunity to communicate in informal environment.”
Director of Finnish investment programme AppCampus Paolo Borella visited the event. He has stayed in Kazan during this week in order to learn about projects of IT park residents and deliver lectures.

About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
