As many as 30 people become potential bone marrow donors for the campaign in the IT park
On February 26, at the technopark in the sphere of high technologies IT-park, a lecture “On the importance of National Register of Bone Marrow Donors named after Vasya Perevoshchikov” was held.
After the lecture, those who wished could donate a sample (buccal epithelium) to replenish the National Register. In total, 30 people became potential donors.
Important issues related to minimizing the risk of having a child with an orphan disease, the need for orphan alertness, the procedure for bone marrow transplantation were discussed at the lecture.
After the lecture, an open collection of buccal epithelium was held. Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin also took part in the campaign and became a potential bone marrow donor. He donated samples on the eve of the event. IT Park Director Alexander Borisov also joined the National Register.
