Innopolis University presented to heads of Tatarstan major petrochemical enterprises

Participation of Tatarstan major enterprises in development of Innopolis University was discussed at a Board session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” held by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on March 25.
Rustam Minnikhanov required from heads of enterprises to study the opportunities in order to assist the University development.
Tatarstan Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov told about new University being created within the framework of Innopolis project.
Carnegie Mellon University is the partner of Innopolis University. Memorandum of mutual understading was signed by Tatarstan Government and subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon University – iCarnegie last year in September. First educational programs will be introduced at the university in the nearest year and a half.
Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
Tatarstan residents have increased their phone communication by one-third. According to MegaFon, in March 2025, the average person talked on the phone for 4 hours and 49 minutes per month. This year, the average call time has risen to 6 hours and 20 minutes.
