Innopolis and University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis discuss prospects of cooperation

A meeting between Tatarstan Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov and President of the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis Frédérique Vidal was held at Kazan IT park. Vice-president of the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis Jan Cristoph, Director of Innopolis University Dmitry Kondratiev, Manager of Innopolis project Anton Grachev participated in the meeting.

Roman Shaikhutdinov presented the Innopolis project. The parties discussed issues of cooperation in educational sphere.

To the point, the autonomous non-profit organization Innopolis University was registered in Tatarstan in December 2012. Plan of activities has been now developed and the budget for 2013-2015 has been approved. The University has defined requirements for candidates by MA program MSIT-SoftwareEngineering. In 2013/2014 academic year 15 people who will pass competitive selection will have opportunity to complete MA program at Carnegie Mellon University (USA).

Leading experts are involved in work under Innopolis University project.

The University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis is located in Nice (France). It was officially established as a multi-disciplinary educational institution is 1965. The university has 7 faculties, 5 institutes, and engineering school. Moreover, it has a developed network of international partnership and participates in student exchange programs and inter-university cooperation.
