Tatarstan developed a mask regime compliance index

Specialists of the Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan launched a pilot project that determines the level of observance of the mask regime and social distance by the residents of the republic. The new technology based on artificial intelligence is operating at the Kazan metro station “Prospekt Pobedy” in test mode.
According to the Commissioner for Artificial Intelligence Technologies of Tatarstan and Head of this project Bulat Zamaliev, video surveillance cameras record the presence of masks on passengers and their observance of social distance using computer vision technologies.
This solution is also used in stores without a seller under the Digital Village project.

MTS, a digital ecosystem, reports on the expansion of the high-speed home Internet network in the large residential complex “Poberezhye” in the 34th complex of Naberezhnye Chelny. About 5 thousand people living in new buildings on Raskolnikov Street received access to home Internet at speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s and the opportunity to save up to 40 per cent monthly on digital services.
