Support for start-ups in the defense industry: successful projects and state grants

The direction of support for startups implementing projects for the defense industry, launched this year with the support of the Innovation Development Directorate of Russian Ministry of Defense, also continues to develop.

More than 50 projects responded to the programme at the beginning, 10 of them successfully completed the programme and tested their solutions at military training grounds in Lugansk. And 6 projects were admitted to a special technical council with the aim of entering extra-budgetary defense orders.

In addition to infrastructure measures, grant support from the state under federal programmes are traditionally helpful for the companies. This year, since the beginning of the year, more than 375 million roubles have been attracted for various projects.
