Yandex.Lyceum in Tatarstan: the academic year is over

The school year at Yandex.Liceum has ended in Tatarstan. As many as 270 schoolchildren finished the first year of studying, 160 people underwent a two-year training programme. The project has been working in the republic for 3 years (started in 2017).

In the first year, students learned the basics of Python - a programming language that is in demand both in IT companies and in the scientific community. Python is relatively easy to master, and yet it helps to solve many problems. In the second year, the students were involved into industrial programming and tried their hand at creative projects - developing chat bots, mobile quests, games and other interesting things.
