Airat Khairullin hands in government grants to students of the Higher School of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of the Kazan Federal University

On September 16, Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communications Airat Khairullin handed over certificates of personal grants from Tatarstan Government to 50 students of the Higher School of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of the Kazan Federal University for training in IT-sphere.

The project on the allocation of personal grants by Tatarstan Government to first-year students of ITIS KFU with high rating of the Unified State Examination who could not get to the budget department of the IT department of the University has been implemented since 2011 in Tatarstan. This initiative is aimed at supporting talented students of IT-profile retaining IT-specialists in the region. The grant involves mutual obligations - the grantee will further work at the Tatarstan enterprise.

Since 2011 till 2018, Tatarstan Government allocated over 1,700 grants with the total amount of over 157 million roubles.
