Roman Shaikhutdinov: “Adoption of unified emergency system “112” continues in Tatarstan”

Citizens of the Elabuga region can now call to a unified number 112. The service is available for subscribers of Megafon, SMARTS, MTS and fixed-line telephony.
Active adoption of the unified emergency system continues. It will soon appear in 10 municipalities located along M7 highway, Deputy PM – Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov informs. The Tatarstan Government set the task to implement the system on the whole territory of republic by the beginning of 2013.
The system started functioning in Kazan in 2009. In August it was launched in Zelenodolsk region.
Population is not well-informed about the unified number of emergency services 112. We have to work much on promoting the system in mass media.

In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
