Some functions of “Tatmedia” delegated to Tatarstan Ministry of informatization and communications

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has signed the Edict about abolition of the Republican agency for press and mass communication “Tatmedia”. Such reorganization is aimed at improvement of the composition of RT executive power bodies.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov explained that the largest media holding OAO “Tatmedia” remains an independent organization, but state management functions in the sphere of press and mass communication will now be fulfilled by the Tatarstan Ministry of informatization and communications.

In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
