Tatarstan citizens win 10 gold medals in IT-competencies of WorldSkills Russia 2019
The final of the 7th Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) National Competition – 2019 finished in Kazan last Friday. Tatarstan citizens won 21 prizes in IT competencies, including 10 gold medals.
As many as 1500 contestants from all over Russia aged from 14 to 25 years competed in 91 competencies.
As many 34 participants represented Tatarstan in 11 competencies in IT-area assigned to Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication.
Students of the Interregional Competence Center - the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications won 9 gold medals.
The winners and prize-winners of the 7th Competition will be recommended into the extended membership of Russian National team and have a chance to defend the honor of the Russian flag as members of WorldSkills Russia national team, at the 2021 WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai and at the EuroSkills Competition in St. Petersburg in 2022.
