Last week, at the Information Technology of Industrial Russia Conference, the founders of Innopolis University, namely Russian Ministry of the Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and the Republic of Tatarstan represented by the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the republic announced about the decision to renew the Supervisory Board.
Following the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, the founders of Innopolis University non-profit organization removed the current Supervisory Board and approved the members of the current Board, which included Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Maksim Akimov, Minister of the Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia Konstantin Noskov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Ilya Torosov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic-Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov, Chairman of the Board of Diginavis Company Nikolay Nikiforov, Director of Innopolis University Kirill Semenikhin and Senior Partner of Runa Capital Venture Fund, Chairman of the Board of Parallels, founder and CEO of Acronis Company Sergey Belousov.
On the proposal of Tatarstan President, Akimov was elected the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
