Unique Samsung Android Lab opened at the Kazan Federal University

A unique laboratory Samsung Android Lab opened at the Kazan Federal University.
The agreement of cooperation had been signed before in presence of Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, rector of KFU Ilshat Gafurov, official of Samsung company Evgeny Vasiliev, Director of High technology technopark “IT-park” Dinar Nasyrov, Director of the Higher school of information technology and information systems Airat Khasyanov and leading developer of Samsung company Aleksandr Kolesnikov.
Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov noted:
“Such companies are welcomed in republic. From practical point of view, we see participation of government informatization, - an opportunity to realize and enlarge user community of the state information system via Android operational system. We would like to have a functional product. On our part, we will render extensive support. Tatarstan is now one of the most advanced IT regions. We wish the company and the Kazan Federal University trust-based relations and further cooperation.”
“Today’s event is an important stage in realization of our agreement. We are planning implementation of another project - provision of IT solutions for educational institutions (Samsung smart school) for one lecture room of the university. We suppose that Kazan is the IT capital of Russia. We hope that results of our cooperation will be of federal level,” Evgeny Vasiliev said.

The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
